If you’re a DM who is short on time, using tricks is an effective way to expedite your games. Not only will these dnd tricks give players the illusion that they are doing something clever, but it will help keep your campaign moving along smoothly and quickly.
One of the hallmarks of D&D is that every roll of the dice can go awry, leaving players to creatively solve their problems.
1. Use a Serval Statue to Open a Door
A serval statue is not only stunning to look at, but it also has an intriguing secret up its sleeve. When placed in the right light, this grey stone sculpture will illuminate with brilliant lights visible through its windows on either side.
This trick will allow the characters to see into an adjacent room and may even reveal a hidden trapdoor. Unfortunately, it does not guarantee they’ll escape safely from there.

Additionally, you can control its lights with a modest Strength check – adding an exciting twist to your next adventure! Moreover, they may light up in various other ways too! 2. Place a Stone Block in the Corner of a Room
Stone blocks are an invaluable resource in Minecraft, often found in caves and mines. These can be crafted into Honing Stones to upgrade a settlement’s capabilities and help it prosper.
You can use stones to construct steps in a building or fortress. Alternatively, you could build a stone generator in order to produce more blocks of stone.
Stone walls are an excellent way to give a room character and personality. Popular stones include marble, sandstone, and travertine; each having distinctive textures and colors that will set your building or landscape apart from others.
Before beginning a project, determine the square footage of space you wish to cover with stone. Do this by measuring the length and height of the area then dividing that number by the height of each stone block. This will give you an approximate estimate for how much material is required.
When installing stone, ensure the joints between each stone are of consistent height and width. Otherwise, keeping these joints clean and neat may prove challenging. A Skill saw with either a dry or wet cut diamond or masonry blade can help you reach this objective.
Once installed, stone veneer mortar can be applied for protection. This product not only helps keep the stone dry and stain-free, but it also adds texture to a wall or fortification project.
This product works best on natural stone surfaces such as sandstone, bluestone, travertine and limestone that have fine pores or gas bubbles. Unfortunately, it cannot be used on tiles with large pores or holes which may trap dirt particles.
3. Poke the Ceiling with a Stick

Cleaning up mold can be done using a mixture of vinegar and water to wipe it away. For even greater effectiveness, spray the area with an industrial-strength anti-mold agent for maximum effectiveness.
Finally, never allow mold into your home. Not only does it contribute to medical conditions such as asthma and other respiratory issues, but mold has the potential to be toxic to human beings, making it especially hazardous for those with allergies.
